At first glance, you’ll see that Kobo Sage’s glare-free 8” HD flush E Ink Carta 1200 touchscreen is 1400 x 1920 resolution (300 ppi). The technology provides faster display, quicker page turns and deeper contrast. At 160.5 mm x 181.4 mm x 7.6 mm and weighing 240.8 g, it’s the perfect size for devoted readers. With a 1,200 mAh battery, enjoy reading for weeks on end with a single charge, depending on individual usage. Kobo Sage is Wi-Fi enabled, and has a Quad Core @ 1.8 GHz processor with 32GB of storage for all your eBooks, Kobo Audiobooks and PDFs.

Your device has been pre-loaded with a selection of popular Kobo Audiobook and eBook titles, specifically chosen by our local Rakuten Kobo book experts, so you can explore the functionality of the device at your earliest convenience. When reading late, control brightness and blue light with ComfortLight PRO, adjusting colour temperature to give your eyes a break so you can stay in the story longer, without affecting your sleep - or switch to Dark Mode for white text on black. Easily adjust the brightness by sliding your finger along the left-hand side of the screen, for the perfect lighting in any setting.

Get Listening
To start listening to Kobo Audiobooks on Kobo Sage, simply pair your Bluetooth® wireless headphones or device, select one of the pre-loaded audiobooks in the device library and hit play. Use the handy page turn buttons to shift the audiobook forward or backward by 30 seconds. You can also adjust the playback speed when listening to a Kobo Audiobook via the options in the player at the top right corner of the screen. To extend the battery while listening, put Kobo Sage to sleep or close the SleepCover and control stop/start and volume through your Bluetooth® device.
The Kobo Stylus makes reading and marking up nonfiction reads, essays or assignments a breeze. With pressure sensitivity that mimics a ballpoint pen, the Kobo Stylus is completely customizable - choose the pen type, shade, line size and eraser size that suits your needs. The Kobo Stylus lets you write directly on the page, just like a pen on paper. Kobo Sage reacts to how much pressure you apply to adjust your writing stroke. Easily erase or highlight with helpful buttons. Use it to underline, circle, or highlight. When an idea sparks, write it down in the margins. Make every eBook and PDF* your own and easily save, organize, and find all your annotations.
